My real name is Omer Ibnu Hifzu; born in Kerala, India in 2004. Estevez Hoerner is a pseudonym I chose for the artistic part of me, because I reckon that art is not and, most probably, will not be my full-time profession. So I would like to keep it segregated.

I am self taught. And I paint with acrylics because they do exactly what I want them to do. They let me work fast.

Even though I have loved art for as long as I can remember, I did not find the courage to pick up the brush until the end of 2020 when boredom forced me to. Eventually, with the support of my parents, brother and a few friends, it turned out to be an obsession. I find beauty even in the most bizarre things. Even though I haven't mastered to bring what I see and feel onto paper, I am and will always be learning.
